Not really cigar related, but I have to get this out to everyone. I have started a fund raiser for Disabled Veterans called Canes for Disabled Veterans. My Fathers old CWV post must have 150-200 sitting there free for the taking.

Since I use one myself at times I feel that I know what I'm saying in that a cane is not a generic product fitted for all.

Canes need to be fitted to the user.Some will use wood others aluminum.Some 1,3 or 4 prong.

I have a cane that was issued to me by the VA. You're right, all you have to do is contact a Veterans organization to get a free cane. I'm trying to offer an option with no cost to the Veteran. I have to use Monty cane almost all of the time and have actually spent money for a quality cane that's functional and at the same time is nice enough to use at any formal occasion. That's what I'm trying to do. No, it's not a necessity, but I've started this "organization" to offer a better option. The canes that I'm attempting to offer will be adjustable and very high quality. I feel that it's more then a worthwhile cause. Just my 2 cents.
