Anyone else seen this?? I'm pretty excited for it. I absolutely love the Project, enjoy the Odyssey, and now this Habano sounds pretty awesome.

"The famous Honduran cigar maker's most potent creation to date.

After two years of meticulous blending, the Ramon Bueso saga continues with the release of Genesis Habano. Stepping into the spotlight after the release of Genesis The Project, this legendary Honduran cigar maker unveils his most potent creation to date. Blended by tobacco expert, Ramon Bueso, Genesis Habano is a complete 180 from his last release, unleashing a powerful ligero blend finished with a hearty Habano wrapper.

Teeming with rich notes of spice, oak, and black pepper, Ramon Bueso Genesis Habano is blended with copious amounts of powerful, high-priming Nicaraguan and Honduran long leaves and covered with a meaty, Ecuador Habano wrapper. This hard-hitting, full-bodied cigar is sure to be another smash-hit in the likes for Genesis The Project. Save a spot for this one in your regular rotation. You won't be sorry."

Anyone planning on paying retail for a box or are you waiting for it to hit CBID?

Sounds awesome. Love Bueso's smokes. Will have to wait until it gets here though...

I'll probably wait. I do like the project though.

Since the Project smokes better with a few months rest, I'd probably do the same for the Habano...so I don't see the need to rush out to get them.

+1......the Project is even better once they have a year plus on them

once the rush dies down, I'll grab a box of the Habanos for $40ish, and bury them for a while

the Odyssey doesn't do much for me..............I have some that have been sitting a while......maybe I'll revisit this morning

I'd like to add a box to my humidor once here for about $40. The others needed a good bit of time before they got good. I liked the Odysseys, love aged Genesis.

Description on these though might not be what I prefer, but hopefully they mellow out with time.

I hope it isn't too peppery and strong. I was hoping next in line would be a sumatra or cameroon but since the Odyssey was so mild it seems he wanted to shift back. I also think it's interesting that rather than create a new name, Bueso is playing off the Genesis name. Makes sense given the success of the Project.

Bottom line up front: Delicious

Nice wrapper, dark reddish brown
Pepper and spice bomb
Very slow burn; burns great for ROTT and Ligero
pepper backs way off after first inch.
Baking spice, nutmeg, slight sweetness, coffee
Very savory compared to the Project
Reminiscent of diff between No9 and T52
I may like these better than the Project
Will age well.

The end.

You must have the palate of a horse fly eating maggoty filled crap.

Mazos of 10 for 29.99, and that is "way cheaper"?? Not sure what you paid but I picked up two boxes and one was only $46. Sounds like you could use some dpnewell education...RIP
