For years, Time Warner has held the title in my eyes. They wrenched the title away from Ford abot six years ago.

Time Warner is practically heavenly compared to what we've recently from Progressive Auto Insurance.

Just working with these people gave my dog a cold sore.

If i stop in a truck stop bathroom, I'd expect to see Flo working the stalls.

I've had Progresive for years. Their price is right. They fixed two accidents I had 12 & 10 years ago. They were great then. Hope I never have to go through that again.

I do not doubt it, friend...

I have USAA, and while they're good, I think Geico was the best as far as customer service after an accident. But they raised my rates, so I went to USAA and they give me money back every year.

I don't have an issue with USAA, don't get me wrong. But I had a claim with both USAA and GEICO and it seemed like the latter bent over backwards to make sure I was happy.

Everything went smooth with USAA, for sure, no issues.

Anyone who has been with same auto insurer for 10 or more years should shop around, insurance companies use artificial intelligence software to figure rates, the loyal get burned hard. I myself and a few others we know in same position saved as much s over 50% on yearly cost by shopping around, some took the figures to their own insurer and what do you know, all of a sudden they qualified for a much lower rate.....

Time warner is still the worst.

State Farm has been fine to me with the exception of the agent I fired. My son had totaled one car, and I was in the middle of negotiating the price of a new car at the time. I had changed agents because the little prick was not ever available except when he wanted to sell financial services. Of course he was not available when I made the change, and called while I was at the dealer.

I made him cry (true) and the dealer who heard the whole thing gave me a great deal. They especially enjoyed when I took the phone from my ear, flipped it to speaker so they could hear him crying, then hung up and said to them I'm not sure what that was all about but it happens to me all the time lol. What a strange call that was.

We were pretty well done and it didn't change much other than giving us all something to joke about. That agent sucked. But the company itself was great despite him.

I've been with State Farm for 35+ years, had two claims on booboos my wife and I did to the car (not involving other cars) and that's it.

Up until recently, I had 5 cars, a motorhome, home owners and business insurance with them, good driver discounts, etc.

Their prices increased a bit over the years.......normal.

But a few years back, just for comparison to see if I could save a few bucks, I got quotes for the cars and motorhome insurance at Allstate, Farmers, GEICO and Progressive.

I'm still with State Farm.........

GEICO was TWICE as much........the others were 30% to 50% more.

Rates can be wildly different pricing products appropriately. It al depends on how their algorithms are built. Some companies are well behind, and based on limitations in place set by state governments, the rates can't catch up to the risk.

USAA has been continually been rated #1, while Progressive has been near the absolute bottom according to JD Power.

My wife was hit by a driver who held Progressive. Their reputation for being the carrier of higher risk drivers, hoping to offset their losses by having higher rates recently and dragging their feet on claims processing is all too true.

More service, less Flo would makes good business sense.

It takes me a minimum of 20 to 25 minutes to get through to a Time Warner cable employee just for them to tell me to lick their turd and shut the **** up

I've had Allstate for almost 40 years. I'm overpaying and I know it. But I don't care. I don't call an 800 number with a claim or question or change to my policy. I call my agent, at work or at home, and he or an assistant takes care of it immediately. The coverage I have is periodically reviewed and adjusted by someone (my Agent) who's known me a long time, so I never have to worry about whether something may or may not be covered. It's worth it, I have bigger things to worry about than saving a couple of pennies.
