As a total expert in my own head, I can give you great advice.

Post all available information you may have about the suspected cat-fisher here, so the rest of us can have some fun with them. Include links to pictures they are using in any social media.

I've caught catfish on worms and hot dogs... but they have an excellent sense of smell, so whatever you use make sure it stinks. Easier to catch them early, late or at night. Day time is not as good, but possible.

Catfish can get really big, too... so be sure your line is strong enough.

I always thought catfishing was more a social media thing... where a fat lonely guy (wheel, for example) starts posting as a hot young woman in various dating sites etc... they put up a model's picture and chat with the guys as if they were the model. They may drag it on for a really long time, may ask for gifts from the guy....

Phishing is stuff like sending an email which looks like it's from your bank saying something like "your account has potentially been hacked! you need to click this link to verify your identity immediately!" the link goes to a dummy website that asks them for acct number, SSN, that sort of thing and of course collects it for use.

There is an old dodge in the outside of a bend with an eddy on the inside of the river.

It's about 8 ft deep there so ya have to swim down. There's a whole in the left hood and the trunk big enough to almost

Swim into. Big cats come out of that honey hole.

It's near Hells Bend if any ya'll live around there.
