But once I'm settled, it will truly be a blessing. Thank goodness I'm able to slowly move in, before I sign on the dotted line. Thank goodness it's a family house & thank goodness the family is giving me an incredie deal.

The last two years have been been full of gut-wrenching tears, but soon 100 y/o 12 acres of family land will be mine.

Now just comes the hard part of moving, as I'm doing it all in my SUV, except for one load in my friends truck for the big king sized bed, and am starting two months before the big date.

But, slowly I'm moving back in. What a blessing it is.

know the feeling, I move way to much for my liking any more. but it sounds like you got a heck of a thing going if they are able to allow you to do all that! I hope that the land and house is everything you dreamed of and don't have to move again for a very long time! good luck with the move and if your near the Whidbey island area, let me know and ill help you move!

Thank you everyone.

Mrs Tank, especially

Mrs. Tank's cookies got me through the broken ankle hard times several years ago.

Moving does suck, but this reason for moving this time makes it well worth the trouble.

Having moved all over the country, pack up family stuff, heirlooms, pictures etc, have a yard sale, what doesn't sell, throw away or donate. Then move. This helps eliminate that crappy post move feeling when you open a box and ask yourself, WTF, why did pack and move this sh|t? 🤦

I hate moving as well. Which is why I lived in the same place for 8+ years, then moved into my current house and been here almost 15 years.

No plans to move until I have selected the house in which I plan to retire.
