Glad it was empty and parked when it was hit. I hope they have good insurance.

The reasoning will be if he car wasn't parked there, it wouldn't have been hit.
Based on my latest first hand experience, Mrs. Jet will likely found to be 25% Herf fault.

Sounds like you were dealing with an Allstate agent.
After fault is settled the hard part is arguing the value of the wrecked vehicle.
That's what me & the mrs. are just talking about.
Glad everyone is ok though.
Red Flag
But, I got to thinking about it & the car had no visible damage & I could have a mechanic friend look at it & I'll think about it. Odd behavior for the Grandma driving a band new full size Chevy SUV. By now, I'm really agrivated.
On the way home this wife calls excited to say her mom is giving us her bought last year new & used three times lawn tractor. She just bought another tractor this year with the smoother tramission. Great. Sold a broken one & got a gifted new one from her parents.
I pull into the drive & then reports that Grandma called back to just buy us a new used car & I said I'm done with them & the shady stress of this all. I got less than 6hrs sleep, and woke up to a car crash one foot off the steps. I gave the church-going family the benefit of the doubt. With all stress of the day, my brain is fried.
I was the talk of the neighborhood today with all the cops & gawkers doing a slow-roll past the house. All due to a distracted driver.
