an elderly guy came into the shop a few months ago... really nice guy... dealt with high stress his entire life making major decisions in the aeronautics industry and now he just wants to enjoy retirement with a WWII book in one hand and a cigar in the other...

he's a really good customer and regularly visits the humidor so I try to keep him happy... when I first met him he requested a "box-pressed My Father"... didn't know anything else about it but he had smoked one and really liked it... I got the Flor de las Antillas, wasn't it... got the La antiguedad, wasn't it... last week I got the le bijou, certain that was it... it was not...

I probably should have come here first and asked... the only other box pressed my father that I've come across was a \
6 x 60 I believe, and the guy says it's not quite that big...

any thoughts?

Don Pepin made several exclusives in box-pressed format, for various B&Ms and online retailers...........
it's gonna be tough to find the exact one.........
tell him to smoke the Le Bijou Torpedo and be happy.................that's a great cigar.........

had a feeling this might be the case... the le bijou is fantastic... he was a little hesitant to try it at the current price point but I'll talk to him about it... thanks...

Sell him a Padron :D

IMO, you can't really go wrong with any of the MFs.

Like Jeferris said though, this one is good: My Father Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo Box-Press.

I'm also not a Padron fan. While I've not had the 1926 or 1064, I've been dramatically underwhelmed by the 000 series. No help on the MF, though.

you recommended the 3000 maduro's in the other thread, didn't you? I usually don't listen very well but you can't say I never listen cuz I got them in last week... you want me to hold some for you? it's probably less than a 400 mile round trip...

I probably won't buy padrons anymore haven't bought a single San lotano either since they were pulled from auction here. What's better sell below map or not sell at all?

The Padron maduro 3000 and delicias maduro are good and I smoke them fairly often. I only have 1 1964 maduro exclusivo gonna save it since I can't get more here anymore.
