I had my first Ramon Bueso "project", and I dont know if its just me, but if I closed my eyes, I swear I was garing a Oliva V...i know this may be a stretch, and I am no cigar afficionado, but the flavor profile is sooo close, I know we are talking gold and bronze I guess, but really enjoyed it because I ama Oliva V fan..i had the toro vitola

Maybe smoked a young one to get that similar flavor profile?? I always thought they were very different profiles. I might need to smoke two back to back.

Taste is subjective hell I smoked a cheap cigar last night with a years rest and the retrohale towards the last third tasted just like after I take a drink of dr pepper and exhale. Anyone else might not have gotten that flavor but I did and it tasted good so if the genesis tastes like an oliva v then that's awesome.

I agree, nothing alike.

Project just tastes like a good Maduro worthy of car rides to/from work.

Oliva V is more a golfing dark habano type smoke.

To me, it really doesn't remind me of anything, but does taste mostly like a maduro.

The Project tastes more like an Undercrown than it does a Oliva V IMO.

Love the "V", Habano, spicy, etc.

Love the Project also, but to me, definitely a different taste, sweet, cocoa, less spice

I've got two Genesis Habanos I'm resting based on what I saw on previous threads. Looking forward to having one in a month or two. Never tried the Project, but it's on my list.

well, i had another Project last night, and yeah, there is a big difference, so i jumped the gun on my feedback, def
not a Oliva V! sorry guys![frypan] I am gonna try the Genesis Habano
