OBAN 18 Year old ?

Thoughts ?

Had the 14 year old and it was very good. One of my favorites. Never had the 18. Depending upon the price point, I would give it a try.

Very nice but I wouldn't pay the premium over the 14 unless it was a smallish amount.

Yes, nice full flavored: woody, fruity and sweet. Got some at Costco for about $60, which I thought was a good deal. Not much peat or smoke, if that's what you're looking for.

edit: Ooops, just looked at the bottle-it's the 14 yr.

A friend of mine plunked down $130 for a bottle, (in N.Y.) and I was just wondering what you experts thought.
