Look for me, I'll be selling the brown acid out in the parking lot.

See you there, Chris.

Well the first days are the hardest days, don't you worry any more,

'Cause when life looks like Easy Street, there is danger at your door.

Think this through with me, let me know your mind,

Wo, oh, what I want to know, is are you kind?

It's a buck dancer's choice my friend; better take my advice.

You know all the rules by now and the fire from the ice.

Will you come with me? Won't you come with me?

Wo, oh, what I want to know, will you come with me?

Goddamn, well I declare, have you seen the like?

Their wall are built of cannonballs, their motto is "Don't tread on me".

Come hear Uncle John'n Band playing to the tide,

Come with me, or go alone, he's come to take his children home.

It's the same story the crow told me; it's the only one he knows.

Like the morning sun you come and like the wind you go.

Ain't no time to hate, barely time to wait,

Wo, oh, what I want to know, where does the time go?

I live in a silver mine and I call it Beggar's Tomb;

I got me a violin and I beg you call the tune,

anybody's choice, I can hear your voice.

Wo, oh, what I want to know, how does the song go?

Come hear Uncle John's Band by the riverside,

Got some things to talk about, here beside the rising tide.

many prefer other/older, but my two favorite albums remain Workingman's Dead and American Beauty (which CAN look like American Reality if you stare at the cover long enough).

I know I was in the "zone" to be a dead head... because we had a handful of them in my HS back in the mid 80's.

I just do not like their music. Doesn't appeal to me. I was firmly planted in the 80's hair metal camp.

Not meaning to detract from your enjoyment of a concert, though... have a gay old time, like Fred Flintstone!

Earlier then those their albums were too, street like?

These were studio albums and before that they were a bit too rough, too live maybe? Jerry don't strike me dead for that, but they were younger-67/69.

Drank beer with them in 72? Partied in their rooms, Madison WI across the street from Dane County Colosium, it's a Sheraton now.

get NETFLIX...

they have a special documentary..

"Bob Weir , the other one"

or

"the other one...the strange times?/life?

of bob weir"

the f#cker looked like a baby boy till he was

35...supposedly..he was the band member

who got the prettiest and the most HOT GASH than any other greatful dead member...even jerry used to

wait in line for his "throw backs" or after he was done for sloppy seconds...

He always had multiple women at the same time..

lucky bastid!!!

Don't be hatin"!

I agree guys, ^ however I've been a fan since '70, my bride got me the tickets as an early birthday gift so I am going!

Car service was my idea as I don't want to walk an hour to and from train.

I never cared for the Grateful Dead --- maybe because I didn't do drugs.

I did do drugs and never got too excited about them. I saw them in 89 and was bored to tears....AND I was trippin. I like them more now that I'm older but I still have no desire to listen to a 45 minute rendition of "Dark Star".
