Going through a tub of cigars looking for yard gars to fill the garage humidor. Found more than it's capacity and among them were 4 or five Cuba Libre one robustos with what looked like mold or plume on them. Pulled the cello off one and all the white stuff was on the inside of the cello. I can only assume that the cigars were too wet when the cello was affixed. Punched one and it had no draw, so I drawpoked it and tried to smoke it but it seemed to wet. clipped the tail and set it aside for after lunch. Pulled the cello from the rest and put them back in the humidor hoping that the humidity will lessen. Anyone had a similar experience ?

Tried one yesterday from a sampler. Way too wet. Gave up.
Dry box those for sure and let them rest.

Looked like mold & you put them back in the humi? SMH.
Mold is fuzzy, plume is like dust. Learn it, know it, live it.

Actually I thought it was plume and it stayed only on the cello. No fuzz, so I really don't know what it was.

for two bucks the 4.5'x60 Brute is a good smoke after maybe 6 months of naked aging. 👍
