I've been looking at compression sleeves lately. See these, as well as copper fit sleeves, and a variety of others advertised.

Doing a little research, these seem to be the most expensive (bordering on ridiculous), but they also seem to have the best reviews, by far. But I think $70 spent on a more comfortable work out might be worth it over the long haul.

Anyone ever use them? If so, your thoughts?

Smart ass comments are expected, of course. Encouraged if they're funny enough... but I'm actually hoping for some serious responses because I'm seriously considering them and would like a first person review versus online reviews which can be bogus.

I've run a lot of miles in the last few years, as well as cycling, ellipticals, stair steppers, etc... the ol' knees get a bit sore sometimes, and if this will really help... I'd like to know.

All the jokes that came to mind might get me banned...

Not an expert by any means, but I read a few articles in the past, not on these in particular but the whole concept, that indicated they worked for people who believed they would work - sort of an UnderArmour placebo effect.

Im not judging that because a result is a result.

Compression works in socks unless you have partially blocked arteries like me.. So i think they can help but they will let you know if the Cholesterol is adding up to by leaving a lasting impression, Better way is with superior foot wear. The Best i have found is the high end ASICS. They are like 160 a pair and rarley go on sale but they help..

Already got the right running shoes and inserts. I also find Asics are good... and Mizuno.

And I don't have issues with circulation or cholesterol. Other than sore knees/feet sometimes, I am luckily quite healthy.
