Four Kicks Coronas and the Sublimes.
Anyone else notice a higher than normal incidence of tar with these?

I have never had an issue with tar buildup with the Sublime or the robusto and i've had a lot of both. What type of cut are you using on them. I have a cuban crafters perfect cutter

hmmm.........
Scored several fivers of each in Jan & Feb of this year.......................(at another place)............maybe that's the problem!
I've smoked 15 or so of these, and probably 6 or 7 tarred up....a few of each vitola.
They (Sublimes and Coronas) are spread out in different humis/coolers, and my other cigars have no tar issues...........so not a storage issue.
I've tried v-cuts and traditional.....makes no difference.....sometimes they smoke fine......other times they tar up......fast....like in the first inch.
Prolly just a weird batch or two.

Do you define tar issues as when the tar **** is coming out the clipped head and tastes like ass and gets on your teeth and stains your fingers when you touch it? I've had that happen with a few smokes most recently a Ashton Symmetry Torp and a KFC Chunky. I always just assumed i was smoking them too fresh ROTT when this happened. Is the root of the problem construction and not me?

Or is a tar issue something else..

Have only had this happen when using a punch vs a cutter, and only a time or two. My brother on the other hand had some LGC's a while back that just oooozed tar.

exactly, although your definition sounds like something JadeRose experiences on his weekly boys night out at the bowling alley.........

I digress.....

Tar issues with cigars, for me, has been an enigma......happens rarely, can't explain it, etc.
This is the first time I've had a situation where I can narrow it down to a line of cigars, simply because the number of Four Kicks that have gone funky.
I'm suspecting a weird couple of batches.....maybe still too much resin in the leif veins when the cigars were rolled up.
