I have seen these for years but avoided them because every cigar that I ever purchased from Perdomo, I didn't like. All of them were low-end however. I picked up a fiver of the Champagne on c-bid, just out of curiosity. I was pleasantly surprised.It has the most beauttiful Connecticut wrapper I ever saw and, like the ad says, it was virtually seamless. Nice constructin, nice taste, lots of smoke, even burn, no touch-ups and a heavy, gray ash. I don't think those who are used to super-premiums or really strong cigars would care for it. But for me, it's right up my alley. 🇨🇮

they can be good............they can also taste like newspaper............I've found them to be inconsistent..................I have a handful left......might have to revisit one today

I enjoy a lot of what Perdomo produces, but the Champagne series has never really gotten it done for me. The Noir is ok, but there's something about the blend that just misses the mark with me for both the Connecticut and the Sungrown.

I know a lit of folks really enjoy them, including several friends. Not sure what it is about them that doesn't get it done for me.

That said, I like Nick and the company. And if you're enjoying them, smoke the hell out of 'em!

But inconsistent.

Though to be honest I've never bought em, just received in trades. So some of that inconsistency could be due to varied age of product.

I really want to like Perdomo and overall what I've had has been decent to good.

Not a Perdomo fan - never had one I liked yet. I do have some champagnes including the noir that I haven't tried yet.

Just finished one (robusto).....this one was OK.
Construction was perfect, as was the burn and draw (which is what I've found with a majority of Perdomos)
Good smoke output.
Flavor? A bit dry.....very feint whisps of creaminess and a hint of nuts now and again.
Decent Sunday morning smoke with a coffee and a newspaper I suppose.
Nothing to make me run out and buy more.

I just tried a Robusto Champagne Sungrown a little while ago as well. It like many started a little rough, but mellowed into a pleasent smoke. I think the assesment above by Kingofthecove summed it up well. I do think it was one of the better Perdermo I have tried and beats the tar out of the Perdermo II. I will add it to my l like list and let the remainder of my 5'er rest a bit.

I agree with KOC but the maduro is very tasty imo. I like a lot of what Perdomo does with maduro wrappers, not really a fan of their SG or Connie wrapper cigars but maduro is my preference so that makes sense.

10th Anni Maduro Rob is still the best Perdomo I've smoked.........but I have only tried 10 or so different Perdomos, and only 4 have been Maduros

I'm not much of a Perdomo fan. To me, the Champagne is a major disappointment ... looks nice, but lacking in flavor or consistency. IMO the Oliva Connecticut Reserve is a much better cigar in the same mild-to-medium category and price point.

Similar experience. Two or three good ones, followed by a flat.

Always have a few Perdomos on hand: Champagne, Champagne Noir, Grand Cru Conn and Habano, Lot 23, Exhibicion Sun Grown and Maduro.

Good for light change of pace and for friends who are infrequent cigar smokers. They've been pretty consistent and satisfying cigars over the years, in my experience.

I've got a couple Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne Epicures, hope they will be good.

I was kind of dissapointed with the Lot 23 models I've had.
