Just wondering if anyone knows of a FREE SD Card recovery program.

Google brings up a plethora of "free" downloads, BUT, they only take you through the "search and find" steps. You can see the pics, but to actually "recover" them you have to buy the software or registration code.

(I figure that money would be better spent on cigars.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SUCCESS !

I used a FREE program called "Zero-Assumption-Recovery" and got all my erased pics from the SD Card.

It took a little over an hour to recover 1700 pics.

Thanks for all your help.

Much appreciated.

Here's a link to a brief, yet very helpful, demo of how to use the program.

It's not all that hard.

Hell . . . If I can figure it out, ANYBODY can !

Love him to death, but ever since I was young I was the go to IT Guy for the family and now I've got a family of my own and every week its another PC issue.

Opening up his browsers is terrifying... half the screen is toolbars.

He's not even terribly old, only 65, just completely computer illiterate.
