Smoking a Last Czar I got on a B&M run to Kentucky and there are some really nice flavors coming from this cigar, vitola is a belicoso.
Definitely medium but the flavor dance is great, there's enough complexity that it's hard to pin down any one at a time.
No where near the strength but there are some warm spice flavors that hit the middle of the pallet that are akin to a Tat RC184.
I saw them referred to as a Hipster crap cigar on here before so why no love for Caldwell?
Only cigar in the line I've smoked so I'm curious - the others could be complete chit, but this one is really nice.

Hit or miss for me. Had a few good, few bad, but still feel it's a bit overhyped overall.

Eastern Standard & Long Live the King are great cigars, a lot of people got pissy when they found some of the Lost & Found line were old Camacho's.

I hear good things about most of if not all the Caldwell lines but they are priced heavy and I don't really care for the way he marketed the lost and found lines. It was a little deceitful in the a lot of different ways that he described them.

If this is true that has me a little red azzed. Marketing is marketing but when you take a Camacho and put your name on it[frypan]

The Last Czar is tasty but I don't know that a Camacho re-brander (*****qers) will be making my list of regulars.

Meh honestly have pretty much all the Lost & Found, there great cigars imo but the old Camacho were great cigars. We're they really Lost? Probably not but they bought the stock and made them available for purchase again. Not really a problem to me but that's just my personal opinion.

Heard rumors that the Pepper & Cream where re-branded, re-packaged, and re-marketed Camacho Libertys? Believe there was a pic posted of the comparisons.

Don't trust them. Are they just re-banding 2nds?

Having someone make cigars for you is one thing, happens all the time. The Oliva family sells tobacco to and makes cigars for LOTS of people.
But rebranding a cigar one of the greats made and claiming it as your own? That's out of the grey area for me. That would be riding someone else's coat tails and dry humping them in the process 😳

Not saying I like it, but that would explain the markup at least in part.
Just because it's been "buried" in someone's aging vaults doesn't mean they are going to get it uber cheap like a retailer dumping old inventory to make room.

That is the marketing I am talking about that was decietful and also why change names so often as it is now called Bellato/something/something or other. Some quantities have been as low as 100 cigars when there may have been one like that but they made all the releases seem like it with small releases followed by small releases of the same cigar. Lost and Found Stout can still be had today. Secondly what new life did they breathe into them other then marketing which as I stated was a little misleading. It is just a marketing ploy that worked I don't hate them cause they made money off it but I am not impressed either.

Imo I try to buy brands that have some substance to it as I work hard for my money and would appreciate not being marketed into spending my money in a not 100% honest way. I like some of the camacho cigars they rebranded but I wouldn't buy them at the escalated prices they want for them.

Just a side note, the Oliva Cigar Co makes cigars. A separate family also by the name Oliva runs Oliva Tobacco who does not make cigars, they simply grow and distribute tobacco.
