I'm getting excited.

Ga Tech starts their season Thurs. night against Alcorn State. The following weekend I'm going to the game with two coworkers against Tulane, one of which was a RB for Tulane in the 70's.

Tech should have a good year. Hoping for big things from Stanford transfer Pactrick Skov.

Go Jackets !!

To Hell With Georgia !!

I hope they have a Great Year but Alcorn is a Giant Killer and Tulane has been really good latley. I expect GT to win but i wished they started a little easier,,. Of Course i am a Penn State Alumni an always root for them and i think they will be a top 20 team this year too but not at the caliber of Gt though ! So go get them Jackets !

Alcorn????

Is there more than one Alcorn? Because Giant Killer really doesn't come to mind.

Look for Southern Miss to upset MS State in the season opener.

Nothing better than watching college football in between deer hunts!!!

I'm not too worried about Alcorn State. The game is Thursday night, and I'm ready for some football.

Not too sure about Tulane, though. They led us at the 1/2, (2nd game?) of the season last year.

But according to my co-worker John who used to play for them, the football program was devistated by Katrina, and never recovered. Who knows.

I'm looking fwd to the game. 4th row, 20th yard line and all. Plus, hopefully Bobby Dodd Stadium will be rocking this year, with us finishing # 7 in the nation last year.

Notre Dame is our 3rd game of the year in South Bend. They have a very lame schedule this year. I've always hated Notre Dame. GT used to play them all the time.

The movie "Rudy" was based on the GT/ND game, and one of my co-workers played in that game for GT.

I'm very happy that College Football is upon us again ! !

Go Jackets ! !

Mattie... might as well get some head phones and stay in the stand all day.

Gonna be an interesting year for the huskers. New coach always makes for a tough year.

Alcorn won their Division last year and has some very good players and i seem to remember them knocking off Ohio State a few years ago. I don't think they can win but they will give a game at least for a while..

Most of my life, the Badgers have played high school and community college talent in September and been mocked for it. I was even embarrassed at times by the scheduling. But, to open against Alabama seems maybe biting off a bit more than we can chew. But, I suppose, if by some miracle.....there isn't another sure loss on the schedule...I'm not sad to see that OSU isn't on the schedule...at least not before Dec 5.....11-1?
