After finally quitting cigarettes for the past 6 months for god knows how many years I've finally been able to tame my instinct to automatically inhale which has held me back on cigar front up until a couple of months ago. Now I can finally appreciate a smoke with a nice glass of scotch after work and I'm loving it. Being a noob I've mostly been ordering samplers to figure out my taste. I find myself leaning towards medium to full bodied so far, and a couple of my favorites at this point are brick house and Cao brazilia. Given what you've just read do you have any suggestions that you think I might like?

Been a long time since I've had a Brick House, but had a CAO Brazilian fairly recently. Didn't really impress me, very similar to standard lines from General/Altadis like nc Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, Upmann and the like, so maybe look there, or try something different

Undercrown Corona Viva is a smokey easygoing cigar.

Olivia makes a lot of decent stuff, but avoid the really cheap lines, they're a bit bland. Master Blends is a good one to try.

The NUB lines aren't half bad.

Grab an Oliva V sampler for $25-$28 and a few Melanios. The Melanio Churchill is my favorite cigar at this time. Pricey but worth the cost of admission. Even on here singles go for $12 or more. I paid $13 each at the local shpo. Which isn't too bad considering a box of 10 at CI is $112.

Just got a box of Melanio petit coronas last night for $55. They haven't been reviewed as well as their larger ring gauge brethren but winter is not too far off and I'm looking for smaller smokes.

My father and about any other pepin rolled stick will not disappoint.

Ramon Bueso genesis the project cigars are good and get better with some rest on them.

All HC Series blends, 5 Vegas Cask Strength, Sosa Vintage and Third Harvest, La Perla Habana Rojo, Wide, White & Morado, Bahia Vintage and Matanazas, Bahia Gold, Palo prieto, all Genesis blends can be had for 3 bucks, most less, and are all good smokes.

Don Pepein Garcia Original, A.B. Tempus, H. Upmann Legacy, Man O War, Man O War Phalanx and Skull Crusher and Undercrown, Nica Rustica can be had he for around $4 any time.
