So, now that flowing water has been found do you think they will find life?

Now I've long been of the opinion that life in an emergent quality of mater. So I expect the eventuality of life not only being found off world, but happily evoluting.....

How 'bout use guys?

I wouldn't be suprised if there was bacterial life on mars. But as far as aliens with Lazer guns... they're still hiding under the surface somewhere.

Ah, but if the rudiments of life are found, think of the social ripples, the denial, the pointless conjecture, the movie rights!!!!

I'm still skeptical... They haven't actually confirmed the presence of water... Haven't even confirmed the presence of liquid... But if there is water, the presence of bacteria wouldn't surprise me...

Just think of the low life forms found on this forum that don't even need water.....only an internet signal.

Not exactly space shattering news. If there was no life anywhere but on this planet, that would extraordinary. Most scientists are convinced that we are not alone, and it would be narrow minded indeed to disagree.

Obama has already sent a satellite to ask for 20 trillion space bucks to pay back China, and do an addition on the Hawaii retreat.
