Just wondering, have tried 3 or 4 different cigars from EPC, and have not been overly impressed. Had the cardinal, dark rituals, and a couple others. All were just meh. Some were online purchases, and others were from my local. Maybe since I like stronger full flavor, full bodied smokes, these are just not in my wheelhouse. Don't know, any fans out there?

I like EPC maduro and the limited. Not a fan of the short runs and naturals.

Try an Inch, especially maduro. La Historia is nice, too. Others I've liked are the E-stunner, Short Run '15, Inch short run '14

I usually like dark, rich smokes too but about 6-7 months ago I had a New Wave and enjoyed it, even for a mild smoke. It's something I wouldn't necessarily buy but I'd smoke gladly if offered.

The Don Rubino Natural was the best EPC I've had.
Tried many, none were bad, a few of the maduros were pretty good.
The New Wave Brillante from a few years back was nice morning smoke with coffee.
I had one fiver of Predelictos that was fantastic.......alas.....the three fivers I bought after that one were not as great.
Last time I bought EPC was over 2 years ago............probably the last time ever.

Smoked a Dark Rituals last night and was not impressed. I haven't tried any others though.

I had just about given up on EPC a couple years ago ... pretty sad as I actually met Ernesto a couple times in the early days of La Gloria Cubana. The La Historia was the first EPC cigar in a while that I thought was not bad.

The next EPC cigar that got my attention was the Cabinet. Pretty good flavor, well balanced, clean finish. A big step up from the Core, New Wave, and some of the underwhelming stuff they had been cranking out. I bought a box of Toros and put them in the rotation as a medium-strength mid-day smoke.

Since then, I've liked both the Seleccion Oscuro and the 2015 Short Run. I don't think the 2015 version comes close to the original Short Run, but it's the best one I've had in quite a while - IMO, worth buying at the right price.
