So, I had a long layover tonight in Atlanta. Perfect opportunity for dinner and a cigar I decided. So I go to one of the restaurant lounges that allows smoking. While getting my stuff out, the guy next to me sees my herfadore and mentions that he smokes cigars as well. So as I'm smoking he gets ready to lite a cigarette. Being the BOTL I am, I insist on him smoking a baitfish that I have with me instead. Made for a great impromptu herf with a great guy. Really amazing to me how quickly we could draw a connection based on this one common interest. Great conversation, great time.

BTW, gotta mention guy was a PhD in Chemical engineering. We discussed the merits of kitty litter vs heartfelt beads. . . Basically it comes down to, "you cant change the chemical molecular properties." "the only real difference is in the surface area, so you have to adjust the math of how much to use some."

Anyway, just a look at me post I guesss, but thought I would share as its a great example of the cigar culture we all experience here.

My second thought...

My first was, "The friendships are what it's all about, the cigars are an added bonus".

... That's because you're a sensitive little lady.

If you were a man, your first thought would have been "where was jet?"

I didn't have to ask him. I'm fully aware of the difference. Are you? Do you think you can educate me on it?

No clue. Typically have found that its not easy to have a herf at an airport with an employee. They're usually busy working or something.

That's a big difference. And one of the main points I've always stated. But what the hell… some people like packing their humi with large amounts of kitty litter.

You insisted he smoke a baitfish?!?! WTF? You make the guy smoke a DE/Swisher product then discuss kitty litter? Did you ask him cello on or off too? Damn noob! If you're going to insist a guy smoke a cigar, at least offer a Fuente Añejo. Tis the season and all.
[sarcasm]

Sounds like a great time, and a great way to pass the time at the airport.

[sarcasm] Wait, wait, wait, wait, who is this pod person and what the hell have they done with cacman......kitty litter and DE mentioned, and not even a phttt! ?!? Dude, you feeling alright? This is kind of like the grim reaper tapping you on the shoulder to give you a fist bump 😂

But seriously, never ceases to amaze me how the sharing of a cigar brings people together.
