I'm late to the party on these.
See that they are popular here and other places, getting good reviews from people I trust.
Grabbed a handful of the Jericho Hill Four sampler recently.
Are these good to go after shipping rest?
Or, do they need, and/or are they much better after an extended nap.......say 6 months or more.

I don't know how must rest would change these, I've smoked probably 5-6 varying degrees of age I didn't notice much. In full disclosure though I wasn't enamored.

Don't care for the wrapper. Reminds me of a large baitfish (which IMO has it's place/time)

I'd not had one, but threw out an underbid and won a box under $100 a bit over a year ago.

Smoked one a few weeks back, was pretty decent.

They're not bad, but I'm not buying another box.

They are good ROTT and, 6 months later, still the same. I've got a few 44's left from a box I bought early this year...so I've smoked a bunch of them. One of the better new (to me) cigars this year. Not sure if they would be better in a year or more...prolly won't last that long...

I got the .44shot. They're not terribly complex but they're good with coffee or maybe a good dry stout. Good cigar I just have to be in the mood for them.

well I was anxious to try one, even though it was close to rott (8 days in my cooler).
I just finished the OBS (4.7" x 52).
I'm with cacman and others on this cigar.......I like it.....quite a bit actually.

Glad I just snagged a few more of the 4 cigar sampler at $16.
Gotta say however, that it doesn't taste anything like a Baitfish imo.................and I like baitfish too.

Despite what others have said, I'm still going to wager that after 4 to 6 months, it will be even better.

Had one last night or yesterday depending on how you look at it. Found it rather blah. Bit over a year on these. Wasn't bad, but reaffirmed my position of not buying more.

eh.........it's definitely a flavor profile thing...........I know quite a few people who dig em...........which is why I finally had to check them out.........turns out I dig em too......................I'll smoke the other vitolas from the sampler in the next week or so see how they compare to the OBS
