Contemplating a box of them, just wondering if anyone happened to try one yet. I've only found one place with them listed online so far.

I have not explored the Illusione brand nearly as much as I should.
But, I've never had a bad one......actually never even had a mediocre one.
They have all been good to excellent.
They can get pricey, and it's tough to find great deals on them in my experience.......................which explains why my cheap azz has not explored the line as much as I would like.

I like a lot of the lines (Rothschild's and HL Candela are two favs) and just the fact that he's releasing something in this vitola has me interested.

Iirc an Illusione '88' maduro is about $10 at my local. I've bought one and I did enjoy it. My last trip I bought 2 rothchildes @$5 each instead. Very good cigar, the nico kick snuck up on me.

Have had one or two of them, good cigars, would buy a box if they weren't out of my price range.

The 33 Maduro is pretty close to the Rothschild, not as strong but very akin flavors and the Rothschild in a cab of 50 isn't insane on the price.

I'm fortunate to have a shpo on the Kentucky side that's not bad on the prices, better than most I've seen online in most cases. PM sent.

Just about the same here except that I don't recall seeing them in any of the local shpos that I go into so I couldn't just pick one up even if I wanted to.

Unfortunately I don't care much for their "humidor" set up and have seen what I think is mold on some cigars so only give it a cursory glance when I happen to be shopping in Foodland. I'll check it out next time I'm in the area.

My mistake, I was referring to the 68 Maduro, smoked my last one today, a PC and akin to the Rothschild.
The 33 is a good shorter smoke, I'm biased as I haven't really had a bad Illusione yet. I've had a few and they're quite good, better yet if you can find a place that has fivers is the Epernay Le Petite - those are my cigar heroin. I haven't smoked one yet and not nubbed it where I'm burning my fingers.
They come in 50 cabs and they're pricey, I have a few site suggestions if you need them.

That IS also my issue here Conan, there used to be a B & M an hour or so N of me that carried " some " of their line. Haven't driven up there in a looong time.

At $65 for a 14ct Box ($4.65ea) I'm giving them a try.

Now I just need to find the Culebra for my collection. Didn't realize it was discontinued earlier this year.

Ya... I broke down and just ordered a box (and some MJ12's to hit the free ship mark). They came yesterday, some need some rest before I try one.
