I discovered a hole in the wall local taqueria today which I'm sure I will regret in the future. Carne asada, carnitas, and al pastor, all food truck quality. One of each and canned soft drink only $8.45.

Time for a nap.

we have a truck parked around the corner now for about 3 months or so... foods ok but they got greedy.. I can go sit down somewhere and drink tea and eat chips with my meal for the same cost or less... 😟

you would think that food truck prices would be better because of the lower overhead costs...but those guys think they're rock stars or something because of the attention they get on the TV...

Lot's of good and cheap Mexican food places around here...

Just a few here in Georgia and South Carolina, most 'Mexican' restaurants cater to gringo taste and serve reheated frozen food shipped from Atlanta.

We do have one outstanding taqueria, Taqueria el Patron in Augusta, GA. Excellent fresh food. It's different food than what we enjoyed in California, but really good and all cooked fresh from scratch.
