Mine was a Perdomo 2 with the red band. I haven't seen it in the shop lately. Anyways, i went into the B&M and he said "limited edition, it's very good" sold it to me for 6 or 8 bucks, i dont remember. Cut it for me, gave me matches, sent me on my way. Went Frisbee golfing while puffing on this, and inhaled, bad idea (think he could have warned me lol). Fond memory though. Do you remember your first stick?[-o<

Mine was a Dannemann of some sort back around 1990 or so.

I was about 12 or 13- It was an Antonio Cleopatra Grenadier. Grandpa always had a box around the house. I stole one and smoked it out in the woods back of their house, got sick and puked. Drank a bunch of water and slept for a few hours afterwards.

Went back the next weekend and stole another- didn't get as sick, at least not enough to puke. Kept going from there, White Owls, Backwoods, Garcia Vega etc...

Wasn't until the early '80s when I smoked my first hand rolled- Some Fuente corona or robusto size. Never went back to the others after that and I've been an AF ho ever since. Also started smoking Ashton's when I graduated H.S. in '85 when they were first on scene.

So that's probably more than anyone ever wanted to know about me. lol

Grabbed a Bances cigar from my Dad's stash. Probably '70 or '71. Turned pretty green by the time I was done. Had a Macanudo about ten years later and that was enough to get things started.

Mine was prolly a swisher also but I quickly advanced to LaCorona Whiffs.. Backwoods when I couldn't find a Whiff... I might have smoked one Black & Mild but I'm not sure.. 🤔

Don Lino Africa Duma at the rail of a cruise ship about 8 years ago. Loved those for the first couple years, then the flavor preferences changed a bit.

I think I might still have a couple of those.. they've been laying for a few years or so if I do.. may have to fire one up soon... 🇨🇮

Topper Breva. My grandfather bought these by the box, and since we lived in Connecticut, we also had our share of Stremmies, Muniemakers, et el.

I think they were called Dino's. Long, very skinny, and came in glass tubes. They were sold at the cash register of a neighborhood Italian restaurant. Probably was about 13 or 14 but was already smoking cigs (Old Gold Filter and Winston, never a Marlboro fan) and actually liked the Dino's.

Soon thereafter discovered Parodis and Tiparillos.
