To age a Fausto?

I just finished a Fausto that has been in my for for over two years
The cigar has become more and more a daily go to, but the aged
Cigar has developed some heavy cedar notes in the last couple inches
I'm not the biggest fan of cedar... Does the cigar really pickup that
Much or was it just a fluke.

Age dang near everything, makes mo betta.

In fact, IMO, as a general rule, if it has Pete Johnson's name on it, smoke it. There's a few exceptions, but by and large, majority are best smoked young. That is absolutely the case with Faustos.

As soon as they acclimate I start smoking them

I noticed the same with the 2014 Las Calaveras, an exceptional cigar. Much better fresh...lost a little pizzazz as time went by...
