I just finished up my winter buying. Prior to coming here, I would take advantage of B&M sales in the winter and noticed last year that prices here seemed lower this time of year. So for the last several years, the majority of my cigar dollars have been spent between Jan. 1 and April 1. Anyone else take a seasonal approach?

I take the 'tis the season, sorry dear I don't need a reason" approach. Yeah right!!! Haha

Prices seem to be higher but with the way things are with the FDA I can't blame people for stocking up. Cuba is up in the air, that has me worried because I absolutely think Cuban quality will take a hit once the American market opens up. Call me crazy but I want to get some before the embargo is lifted. They only have so much land allocated for tobacco.

The nice thing is I'm noticing an expanded selection on here lately. Thank you cbid.

My cooler is full but I bet I could fit a few boxes of CCs in there. I need to finally break down and buy some my entire stock is nc.

Same here. I think I'm down to less than 10 cc's. Never bought a box, only singles at LCdH shops.

I didn't find a real sweet spot for buying this winter, which is when I usually stock up. I'm nearly at capacity and want to stop using a couple of small humidors, so it will take something special to get me buying again.

Seasonal buying, let's see... Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Yep, I buy then, so I think I have it covered?

I did find a few decent CC sales the past few months. I stocked up on a few boxes of both CC and NC to put in the aging cooler since I am getting low on aged smokes.

My buying is usually determined by manufacturer releases and specials from places. When I buy from here it's usually because I want to try something newer or I luck out and get a really good deal, DP Newell-style.
