I tend to think its not really about the cigars. These things tend to be more about open and honest communication.

Lots have forgotten or been delayed on sending a shipment. How you react to that is indicative of character, not the original lapse. If one was really hurting and didn't have the cigars to send, then that probably would be forgiven- just guessing.


With that said, how one acts when owed could make a difference as well. I've been owed in the past and never received. Its the risk we take when we play some of the games. In some cases, I worked with the individual for a long time, in other times I've written off the debt. In the long run, I have received as much generosity as I have given on this site so I don't get worked up either way.

I would add.....how many times and over what period time makes a difference in my eyes. If someone has sent multiple PMs unreturned, and it's been more than a month, I would tend to think it's poor form.

For the record, I am hurting for cigars and need all owed sent to me within the week. Otherwise I may not be able to enjoy any cigars next week. My cooler is down to only a couple hundred and that hardly makes for optimal selection.
