Hopefully this already common knowledge, there are a lot of pesticides, herbicides and fungicides used to maintain the turf on golf courses. Do not place your cigar on the grass while stroking your balls and then pick the cigar up and continue puffing on it several times throughout your round especially if you play a lot. Stroke away! 🇨🇮

That's what I always play with a partner. Even my wife.

So when I go to tee off or pick one off the fairway, I just turn and say "Here - hold this".
