Maybe it will keep them from selling out to InBev like one of my favorite locals Four Peaks and Goose Island did.

Limited selection at Airport location. Main brewery is about 10 minutes from the airport. Cigar City is one of the best Florida breweries. Glad they didn't sell to InBev.

And InBev owns 32% of Kona, Widmer Brothers and Red Hook. Magic Hat sold out to LaBatts.

Red Hook has always sucked, and Widmer has sat on their previous success (remember when Hefeweisen was the "in" thing?) and seen quality drop IMO.

Widmer cannot make a Weißbier to save their souls. They never have and they never will.

Here in Texas we lost Shiner and that's bad enough. 😞

What the heck is going on? Magic Hat selling out to LaBatts sounds like Black magic. Breckenridge Brewery selling out makes me sad as well. Stop the Madness!!!

In the old days the big breweries squeezed the little guys out of the market. How ironic that they now feel they have to buy the competition to survive. There is no stopping the independents.....RIP for our beloved ones lost in the beer war.

I hope the quality doesn't suffer as a result but it probably will. Bummer! I will buy more of both and see how it drinks. 🍺
