Actor Ken Howard passed today. This is a bad year to be an older celeb.

I said "older" so as not to freak anyone out. I agree that 71 is not old. In fact, that appears to be about the age you run for president.

he was a staple guest actor on all those great

moronicly written hits like.....

ironsides

matlock

love boat

mannix

hart to hart

jessica ?? the mystery writer lady show

mary tyler moore

Rhoda

etc. etc. etc.

on and on and on.....

he needed to "spot guest star " on about 10-15

dumb network shows per season to make a living for 20+ years.....then he had a basketball coach show?? somewhere in there ^^^

Did you watch all those programs?

Or did you have nothing better to do than look them up?

Either way, I gotta say that you seem to want to trivialize his achievements.

I liked him in the White Shadow.

It's a shame he dies so young.

Dumb networks shows be damned...

Chill out?

Why? Because I called you out?

I just thought it was ironic that the same person who would have watched those shows would use them as proof that the guy was an also-ran.

And I invented the "it's a discount cigar forum filled with sarcasm" line.

Hell, it's on my business card.

Or would be.

If, you know, I had one.

So stop squelching my dreams.

First the white shadow. Now mine.

You bastid.

^^^ Thanks tailgater ...for the "splaaanation"

I didn't know you invented that "discount cigar forum" line....I'll credit you in my apendicies next time....

my dreams have been squelched for multiple DECADES..

so join the club....

I never really watched whole episodes of those

moronic shows ( except Mannix) .....mostly recalled from my memory while channel surfing past "murder she wrote" and cringing @ all the bad acting and dreaming about bending Merideth Baxter Birney over a kitchen table...

so,

since your the "Love Child" of Issac and Doc , on the Love Boat...where do you spend Thanksgiving and Christmas at....since they split up?

^^^ BWUUUHAHAHAHAHA

RIP da' WHITE SHADOW 😞 😞 :(

I think Ken Burns was just awarded a Kennedy Center of the Arts Grant and a Humanity of the Arts Stipend for a three part Ken Howard Acting Career

PBS SERIES Special....

With Special Voice over Narrations by :

Donnie Osmond, Tyne Daley, Buck Owens,

David Hasselhoff, Mr. T, Charlie Sheen,

Suzzane Summers, Betty White, Ben Vareen,

Gary Busey, and Billy Mummy.

I don't get into strangers cars ( w/ baseball bats and shovels)....anywhere near Illinois or Indiana....

like that dumb azz in "CASINO".....

I HAVE IT / (heard it verbally)....."directly from the horses mouth"...as the saying goes....

from my Mentor..."the man nobody knew "...that jimmy hoffa is 4-5 stories underground in a

Illinois/ Indiana cornfield....so deep that any NEW

development or building ( short of a DEEP FUSION CENTER) would ever uncover him....

and that is a true fact
