Cleveland is hanging in there with 2.5 left in the 3rd...

Curry and Thompson combine for 20 pts, the Warriors are mediocre from 3 point land, and the Caves still get beat............easily.
Cleveland can't be feeling too good about things.

Sticking to my prediction.....Warriors in 5.

Could be the layoff, could be that the GS bench was clearly better... or it could be Cleveland is outmatched. Again.

All of the above.
Outmatched for sure, warriors have more players that can play at a high level, and WAY more players that can can play defense. The Cavs have Lebron and Shumpert for good D. Problem is however, is Shumpert is mediocre at best on offense, and if Lebron works too hard on D, his offensive effectiveness drops off the cliff.............and he will have to work hard enough as it is to get his points, with Andre in his grill all night.

The Cavs have to win game 2 imho to have a chance.............and if the Warriors go cold, and the Cavs make 15 or more 3-pointers and somehow win game 2....................maybe it goes 7 games.............................which the NBA would LOVE $$$$$

Well I didn't see that azz-whoopin coming........geez.........Cavs just don't have the players..........JR Smith has all but vanished.
I actually think they'll be better off with Love missing game 3 if that's how it turns out.
It's obviously do-or-die for them.........but winning game 3 could change everything..........for a while.
Lebron and Kyrie have to go for 30 each for the Cavs to have a chance........AND.......hope the Warriors have an off night.

Gaddam, the Eastern Conference in da NBA is a friggin JOKE!

I was thinking this exact same thing. Even if it wasn't GSW, SAS or OKC would've whooped the Cavs.

Heck, Portland, Houston, and the Clippers (if healthy) would take them to 6 or 7, maybe even win.

Well, I didn't see that azz-whoopin coming either!
Kylie and Lebron did in fact get 30 each, which is what I figured they would need to do.

Warriors gonna win games 4 and 5 though.........................I think.

Warriors played good.........not great. They shot great from the three point line. They made more 3s than 2s???
I'm pretty sue that has never happened in a playoff game before, let alone a finals game.

The Cavs went back to hero ball in the second half....................hard to play hero ball when you're tired.

Warriors wrap it up Monday.

I'm wondering if #lebronisabitch is trending on Twitter because if it isn't, it should be. What a **** waste. I've NEVER seen someone cry and whine so much. He is horrible. And tonite he tried to pick 2 different fights.

What a huge pile of steaming **** he is.

Lebron whines a bit.
But he's not even in the SAME LEAGUE as some of those Celtic players of the 80s.
They had the King of whiners in Danny Ainge.
The Prince of cry babies in Kevin McHale.
And, the Wizard of whispering bs to the refs in Larry Bird.

Honorable mentions to Magic, Michael, and of course Bill Laimbeer, who was always shocked that he was called for a foul after damn near killing someone.

KOTC's list of the Whiner's Hall of Fame hits the mark, but has a huge void: Rick Barry, the Lout of Pout.

Wrong Mr. NBA Knowitall.................Cavs did it to Atlanta in the second game of the second round, when they made an NBA record 25 ...........3 point shots.....and 16 twos.

Man, the game has changed.................I kind of like it..............but then, I kind of don't.
I miss the football-esque basketball of the 60s and 70s.
The Celtics and Pistons and Knicks tried to keep it (bangin, physical, low post hoops) alive in the 80s. But rule changes, the 3 point line, the size and speed of the players, etc., all contributed to the modern game.

I wonder if the pendulum will ever swing back...........

Ainge absolutely. Even annoyed me and I was a fan of the team. But no one, absolutely no one whined as much as Kareem Abdul Jabbar.

McHale may have actually been fouled twice as much as were called simply from the amazing low post moves and going up and under while creating contact from inferior defenders he caught leaning in or leaping too early...never hacked but craftily luring them into unintentional fouls,,,he certainly was robbed of many free throws and he was a tremendous free throw shooter.

Bird was a nasty guy on the court. He whispered to opponents way more than refs though. Not sure I ever heard what you are citing before, not that it matters. I'm just glad to find another botl hoops fan.
