Somehow my wife managed to pour half a glass of sauv blanc into my humidity tonight when getting one.

Now I have 40 or so sauv blanc infused sticks.

Some of them were complete goners and were tosses immediately, others were only a little wet. I got to the quickly and wiped them with a damp cloth. Now they are in the freezer.

Any suggestions? Odds that they make it? Anyone into slightly sauv blanc infused sticks (might even be the next big thing)?

Not ideal, but not the end of the world. Unless they were really mild to begin with, you might not even notice. The bigger deal is cleaning your humidor out. if the wine soaked into the wood you will be infusing everything for awhile.

Do you have a large yard?If not most cemeteries have enough activity to cover an extra grave.Maybe a boat......think Dexter.Get her done

Thay escalated surprisingly quickly......

Euodias, was so caught up in being bummed about the sticks did not consider that. I did give it a cleaning last night, but definitely wreaks of wine still this morning. Will bust out the sandpaper tonight and see if taking off a layer does any good.

I agree with Euodias on the humidor. I don't think that the sticks are a big deal unless you are talking about $25+ cigars. You never can tell how much infusion the ones you saved will retain over the long run. Best of luck. No crying over spilled wine. 🌫
