Good afternoon cigar aficionados and enthusiasts,

I am an avid cigar enthusiast with quite an extensive collection of fine stogies, however, I cant seem to get a definitive answer whether or not I should remove the plastic cellophane from my cigars prior to placing them into my humidor. Can someone please provide some guidance.

your supposed to remove them from cigars you dont like, and replace them with the old cello of cigars that you loved to emulate the good flavors.

There is a mold study in here somewhere initiated by AndyTV ,IIRC, many years ago.To get right to the point he over humidified identical cigars one cello one cello off in a lock-n-lock bowl.The cigar with cello on showed very little sign of mold,the cello off looked like it was grown in a lab.I leave my cello on.

I cut 65% of my cellophane off and stick the rest in water to keep them at a perfect 65% humidity. Then put them in the freeze like popsicles so I don't have to worry about the evil tobacco bettles.
