Sharty, a customer here, told me to tell everyone the following:

"
Cbid has not shipped my order after two weeks. They have not refunded my money. They have banned me from the forums and when I attempt to log into the site at all I get "Error 789. Contact customer service." Of course customer service is closed until Monday.

I'm going to be contacting my bank to initiate a chargeback and I'm going to be posting on all the other cigar forums never to do business with this company.

I don't care if weirdo fanboys post derogatory comments as long as this thread stays at the top. I'm also going to post this on botl, cigarbum, puff and as many other places as possible. People have to know what's going on here.

I've made many orders from CI and its various "front companies" (of which cigarbid is one) over the years. Here's how it's gone so far:

Span of time: 11 years.
Total number of orders: around 70-90
Delivery speed: Usually next-day.
Total number of significant delays: 0
Record low time from order creation to delivery: 17 hours
Total number of orders with incorrect contents: 1
Response to fixing that one: immediate and excellent.
Overall customer service quality: stellar.

So yeahhhhh, not seeing such problems here, nope!

Also, a thread containing one complaint from an account created today with a post count of 1 is not going to convince anybody or hurt cigarbid at all, even if it's kept on top.

Glowingly-positive comments like mine, however, will HELP cigarbid.

So, good job HELPING cigarbid! Well done.

Your buddy (you in disguise I'm guessing) got banned for being a douche.

Never heard of someone flat out getting banned from ordering. If they don't want your money, that means you're an alpha douche!

Don't worry, I'm sure I can't convince crazy cbid Fanboys that their site is anything other than God. I'm looking to communicate with normal people who might be considering bidding here

Okay, so I've received 70-90 orders with lightning-fast speed and near-perfect accuracy along with excellent customer service for over a decade....

.... um, because I'm a "crazy fanboy"?

Gosh, I never knew that was the reason. I always thought it was because the company is VERY well-run.

Never an issue that wasn't resolved in 5 minutes on the phone with customer service.

Sounds like you should call them monday. Or just keep trashing them, heard that's a great way to get the problem fixed.

Clearly they're not well run if they can't get a shipment out in 2 weeks and then ban the guy for talking about it on the forums. And then preventing him from logging into his account so he can check on the order. That's well run?

Yes we are behind in shipping. Quite frankly, I am frustrated just like everyone else, and I apologize for the delay. The weekend of 8/8 felt like a perfect storm with things we encountered. We have about 15% of orders that will be shipping any day. Thank you all greatly for your patience.
