Hi all,

Ok I'm not usually one to want to buy a cigar just because of a good write up in Cigar Afficianado....however, the Cuaba Distinguidos (from a 2005 production) recently got a great review.

What are some various opinions on these?

Thanks!

I have a few but I didn't want to smoke them until they had another year or so.........maybe I'll smok'em anyway!

I had, the operative word being had, a box of the Solomones that were amazing for such a young cigar. Mild but flavorful. I recomend the Cuaba line, for a morning smoke.

Thanks guys. Andy, let me know what you think...I respect your opinions always. You're the guy who turned me onto the Fuente SG 🙂

Homebrew, in addtion to taking your advice on the Cuaba...what is your opinion of something similar to Guiness (extra stout not draught)? A dark, rich beer with similar characteristics. That would complement a medium-full bodied cigar. mr777nj @ aol dot com so I don't threadjack my own thread haha.

I was tempted mraven, but discipline got the better of me and I decided to wait...........if they are very good now, they will be great later.

Cuaba Distinguidos along with their other vitolas seem not to need much time to be wonderful, very flavorful mild - medium smokes. I agree with Homebrew, they make a great morning smoke.

I still have 7-8 sticks from a box of 03 Generosos. I like them a lot. And in my experience, the Cuaba vitolas taste a bit similar.
