Starting with a couple of Yuenglings and a CAO La Traviata Maduro........ very nice.

Still wish we could get Yuengling down in Texas. Yeah, it's not the greatest beer in the world but it's easy to drink and still independently owned which is a huge surprise considering it's tenured history.

I'll bet PA has dozens of new brewers making outstanding stuff

Quickly getting of the rails, so I'll contribute to pushing the train off course: I'm a HUGE fan of the beers made in Minneapolis. The beers made near me in CT are absolute pisswater. MN has dozens of lovely breweries. Not tried anything from PA, even Yeungling.

I really like the brewer/founder from Victory. He's one Hell of a guy. Met him back in 2014 at a sampling in some art gallery here for one of the big distributors in Houston. We had a pretty lengthy discussion about the cost of starting up a new production facility. I was really looking into starting a brewery at the time. He was encouraging but he held pretty firm when he said it won't be easy if the brewery plans to do more than just bottle micros for the locals. That Golden Monkey is some serious stuff.

Yeungling is my go to, sit around and have a few beer.

If I'm having a beer to really enjoy it.... I still love Guinness on draught, drawn the proper way, in a nice Irish Pub.

A well poured Guinness is worth its weight in gold.

From 2000 to 2003 I had a job that put me in Putney (little burb of London) regularly, usually for 8-10 days.
Couple of the guys I worked with knew the best old style little pubs, near the Thames, that had good Guinness on tap.
