Let me get this out of the way first. I'm a noob. My intro is here:

http://www.cigarbid.com/Forum/c/posts/651571/Another-Noob-Introduction

Because I'm a noob, whatever I say is basically crap until I get at least 500 posts under by belt. So bear in mind that the following is crap. Craptastic, potentially.

On Friday, I was doing my typical scan for humidors on Craigslist and Letgo and found a feller who was selling his 100 cap humi for $30. The humi looked ok, but the photo of it intrigued me. The humi had a bunch of cigars in it. I messaged the seller to indicate I was interested and casually asked if the cigars were included with the humi. He said that they were.

So I drove 20 miles to check out a 100 cap humi, analog hygro and a bunch of seegars for $30. This is what I saw when I opened the lid.

Because of my newbishness, I didn't have it figured out that I can't post multiple pictures or reply to my own post with pictures. So my story will have to be continued in my next post, Trash or Treasure... And is rehab needed (part 2).

The original CAO Brazilia was a go to for me 10 years ago when the blend was much to my liking. Today, not so much. The treasure there are the Ashtons, looks like an aged maduro followed by four VSGs, well worth the $30 and then some. Never had the others except for the Hoyo, but that was a long time ago.

Score! Good cigars and I'd use that little humidor for a dry box.

Craptastic, not so much. As Thurston, the Ashtons were well worth your time. When I started out I got a deal online, $25 for a 20-count humidor and five cigars. If nothing else, you did better than many noobs!

Try findingo out the brand and model of the humidor, you might be surprised at how much you saved.

Finally, make sure humidity is holding well at the right amount. Look around the forum and the rest of the internet for help with that.

I would say "treasure", as well.

Where's part 2 ?

Looks like a reasonably well made humidor too. Overlap seal comes from the base instead of the lid.

Sounds like you got a winner

Treasure for sure. OR Brazilia, nice Odyssey in the coffin, aged Ashton's...... And that is only the upper level. Nice score.
