Hey all you 🌫 or noobs with time on your hands to make lots of posts.

I'm finally closing in on a nice round number of posts, the first milestone of 5,000.

What have you guys been getting as you climb to those 60K and higher post counts? Gotta be something, right?

Right?

Or is it all in vain, there's nothing out there besides us, hurtling through space on a wet and icy rock, being snarky about cigars, life and Victor? Noooooo

🤔

I'm not voting for the thong picture until I get some clarification. Is it a picture of the ladies wearing thongs?

I participate on a gun forum and often when a member reaches a milestone they offer a "karma". It might be a holster they no longer use, a set of grips,or something completely outside the realm of guns. Anyone interested in the karma throws their name in and there's a random draw after a set amount of days or posts and a winner is chosen.

On a forum I moderate, the home page tells who has the most posts. One guy there posts incessantly from time to time and annoys the moderators. When he gets on my nerves, I lower his post count. We have a rule that post count farming is not appreciated and can lead to infractions and banning. There are some forums that only those with a minimum of posts can see, but that can be circumvented by contributing cash to the site. Our troubled political forum is virtually inactive since it began requiring a cash contribution to enter. Another forum I frequent changed their software and started everyone over on both post count and date joined (by several years).

Ya get sh|t, cause no one really gives a sh|t what your post count is.

Now if you want to make a big deal of it, run a contest asking members to guess when and where your 5000th post will be, and then send the winner a premium five.
