Been here 6 years and this is the first time I won a lot and the cigars changed from what I bid on.

Lot #2525202 - Originally was for:

5 - La Aroma de Cuba Robusto (5" x 54)
5 - La Gloria Cubana Serie R No. 5 Robusto (5.5" x 54)

So I bought 2 QB. I knew something was wrong by the good deal.

But if you look at the other winning bids you have to know there is something wrong here. No one would pay $30 for a five pack of 5 Vegas.

Called customer service and the lady told me that is not possible. An Auction can not change. Well when the ret of those winners call up to complain she will believe me. Has this happened to anyone else?

well, I dunno ... MrsS isn't so tech-savvy either and has had any number of issues that I've had to sort through in order to solve ... what I've learned over the years is that she's not a 'liar', she's just completely mistaken ... from her perspective, she's quite righteously sure of herself ... she's just wrong ... and sometimes vocal ...

could be that's what our new friend is ... mistaken, wrong and vocal ...

I haven't been following all the complaint threads, but I thought I did see someone say that cbid was out of business....if you got someone to answer the phone, I guess you're way ahead of most.

Gotta admit, there's something a bit weird about that lot.....been a number of years, but I used to enjoy the 5VCS every so often...but at $3 or less...not $6; that's for sure.

I am BC from LV. And I personally would never pay even $15.50 for these cigars. I thought I was getting a sweet deal on a 10 pack. I bought it right when the auction opened because I saw how low the QB price was for the 10 pack when checking out the morning listings.

Will there be an investigation? Something very 2ueer about that auction. Two QB @ $15.50 and then a raft of winners @ $29 or $30??? People really that dumb??

If I lived in north vegas I prolly couldn't afford $60 either.

If you haven't noticed this site has been unavailable every other day now at some point ever since they closed for maintenance. Pretty sure I saw an auction close early because it had wrong QB and then reopen same day with what was probably the right QB. There has been tons of glitches as well. I believe the guy and think CS should owe him an apology since they surely should know their site has been running like crap recently.
