I posted a short while ago about my sweet girl Stain who had to be put down. I still miss her dearly, but the house was to quiet without the pitter patter of little paws.
Well, about 2 weeks ago we adopted another little girl, Sarah, a female Lab/hound mix. She is a very sweet shy girl. she's still getting used to life here, but she seems to like it here. While she has taken up some space in my heart, and that space gets bigger every day, we are not trying to replace Stain, but bring a little love into both ours and Sarah's world. It seems to be working!
Sarah is a very playful girl, and lots of fun to see getting comfortable here. I think we'll keep her(like there was ever any other option)Ha!
Hopefully she'll want to keep us! 🍺

Good for you, Rick.
I wish MORE people would look into"rescue", as opposed to supporting the puppy mills.
Best of luck with your new "family member" !

Good on you, Brother. I've never "bought" a pet and never will. Too many good animals needing some love sitting in shelter cages. Congrats to you on your new friend and on behalf of your new, sweet girl, Sarah...Thank you

Four legged family members are every bit as important as the two legged ones (some times even more so). Good for you rescuing a puppy. 🌫

Thanks guys for the kind words..........I agree, I've never bought a dog in my adult life........to many good animals in shelters needing homes............the fees charged make it seem like your "buying" a dog though, but I guess someone has to cover the expenses incurred in the spaying, vet bills, and travel expenses.......WORTH IT!!!!!!!!
