What's everyone doing for the BIG GAME? I usually have a small get together every year, with a handful of friends.
Everyone usually brings an appetizer or two and we have a pretty good buffet going.
This year I'm planning on doing up a batch of various flavored wings in the new AirFryer(Fantastic invention), and some chips and dip. I also think I might try to make up some homemade crab rangoons in above mentioned Fryer, and I always do up a big platter of shrimp cocktail with very spicy and not spicy at all cocktail sauce.[chef]
Anyone got some other appetizer ideas? Nothing too complex or time consuming(pain in the azz) to prepare, but tasty and delicious.
Oh, and anyone in the neighborhood is free to swing by..............Jespear, it's only a short trip up Rte. 95 to NH and I'd love to have you visit.............you might feel a little out of place being the only one wearing green, but I have enough red, white, and blue to fix you up so you won't feel so out of placešŸŗ

I sit in the garage by myself and watch... I'm not opposed to watching with other people, I've just been to too many super bowl parties where no one was watching the game and it makes it hard to enjoy...

Is that just a California thing, to throw parties for sporting events you have no intention of watching? I've seriously been to at least a dozen of those parties and I'm not that old....

We have our annual Poker and Pigskin party. Friends and family come over for poker at 1 and then the game after. Everyone brings side dishes and stuff and I make my world famous Italian sausages and my wife makes her world famous peach cobbler.

Poker is great because we can be out in my man cave, enjoy the cigars and not be bothered by anyone. Usually a lot of drinks consumed as well.

Always a good time.

I'm with you. This year I wouldn't mind a party though since I don't care who wins or loses.

Marinacho meatballs: simple and deelish...one can (16 oz) nacho cheese sauce; one 16 oz jar of marinara sauce; 2-3 lbs of meatballs. (I use the Kirkland Italian meatballs, but any will do)
Warm the meatballs in a crockpot. Combine the nacho cheese sauce and marinara sauce in a sauce pan and heat. Pour over the meatballs in the crock-pot. (optional: top with grated parmesan)

Those Kirkland meatballs are legitimately good... what kind of marinara? Newman's?

Typically we have about 10 friends over. Those who don’t watch the game hang out around the island in the kitchen. The rest of us hang out in the living room.

I’m sure I’ll smoke a pork loin served with rolls. Kinda like a pork slider.
Deer sausage is always grilled.
Some type of fruit
Chips and dips.
Banana pudding or bread pudding with bourbon sauce.

I may do pork tacos this year instead of the pork loin. I really liked the tacos I did recently.
