I am new to the cigar world, I have had a few decent brand names, but today I took my new vice to a new level. I tried the La Gloria Cubana Series R. An excellent, smooth, Dark cigar, I was enthralled from the first taste, with hints of wood and cherry, by far the best cigar I've ever had.

Welcome Cathcam. La Gloria Cubana makes some decent cigars. I liked the pyramid shaped Artesano Obelisco the best...smoke what you like...try a bunch of different stuff...

One of my favorite go-to cigars.
Advice from one noob to another, you're gonna need thick skin, zero expectations, an ability to laugh at yourself, keep your lunch down and tell anyone and sometimes everyone to go f*** themselves.
That said, if they like you and even if they barely tolerate you, they won't kill you.

Thanks all, as I sample the relics of this site, I will do my best to give an honest, exact write up of them. I love an excellent Maduro so, yes I am a Fan of Maduros. As for an in depth, I am an avid Fisherman and hunter from Oregon, I love a good Dark cigar and an excellent Cognac or rum to sip with it. 36 years of age, I love deep sea fishing and work for an international company call Hollingsworth and Vose. Although a little stubborn in my ways, I truly enjoy writing, and I believe I have found something that I will enjoy writing about. As for the Looney bin statement, I joined the Looney Bin years ago, just finally finding my perfect niche. lol

I own land too.....but camping is so fun.

Do you bow or rifle hunt? Your area or eastern Oregon?

Mostly rifle, but I also love upland bird, so shotgun as well. As for where, I live in the coast range, but I like hunting elk in the Cascades. They're so much harder to get a shot at.

No worries, there's plenty of room for fishing and hunting in Oregon.
