anyway, The Lovely Caren and I were finally able to close the deal and meet Alan and the always classy and stylish Deb for a long delayed dinner tonight.

We had good beers, wine, martinis, and superb food offerings from a great joint in historic Quincy, MA (Fat Cat for anyone interested). Caught up on life and politics, birth and death, and we headed home feeling blessed to have met these extraordinarily caring people, simply because I smoke cigars and hang out here. And I didn't say blessed before...always thought I was just lucky.

So much antagonism happens here, but so much good as well, if you let it.

Yessir... not so strange, really.

true Shawn. I've (and the doubtful yet Lovely Caren) had the pleasure of turning virtual friends into real life friends many times over now...including you!

We've probably spent time with Alan and Deb 3 or 4 times now, been to dinner, they took us to the Boston Symphony, Alan came here for the MASSHole Herf in May and to Edin508's a year or two before...

had fun with several others including (I will leave out someone, sorry) Rmann/Rick, Mandobro/Don and Joan, Bucky/Craig (who I am worried about), Stinkdyr, a few who no longer post like BMW and his brother wlllcorona, crazy funny Amerasian Pat, Basic Patrick, my good friend Edin508, my really good friend tailgater/Joe and Shannon...
and don't get me started on the friends I have yet to meet.

all this love because I write a few wisearse comments on a discount cigar forum.

Frank and Caren are always wonderful company, and it helps us throw stones at them now that we’re living a stone’s throw away...

Frank’s right, it’s lots of fun to connect across the ether with CBiddders where ever they may be. Just last week I had a nice first-time exchange with a FoG who may or may not have something up his sleeve... good connecting with you who know who you are.
