We showed Smooth Fox Terriers when I was growing up and one of my Dad's sayings was "Humble in victory, gracious in defeat." I had a pretty good dog but lost 3 times to a better dog in the Best in Show. Nonetheless, no matter how disappointed I was, I *always* shook the winning handler's hand. For Tom to run to the locker room without congratulating Foles or Peterson is pretty bad...at least in my book.

I think it was due to Foles not being as sexy to Tom as Aaron Rodgers.

I did say IF it was true, and I also said I did not watch the ending. BUT - it's common practice for the coaches and QB's of both teams to meet and shake hands after the game, right?

just finished watching the fast version of the game on NFL network.

Belichick made his way across the field but not like in a sprint, lots of people all over the place on the field, confetti flying...a couple of camera shots caught Foles hugging coaches, then a player or two, all of this on their sideline.

Never saw any mix of white and green jerseys that you'd normally see at midfield after a regular game, way too much hoopla going on and security all over the place, who knows if security impeded movement...and then a shot of Brady trotting off the field with Gronk and other Pats...but it was after a while, not right away.

I have no idea how Philly fans have determined sulking classless Brady refused to congratulate Foles. No one could tell from the game film if it was even possible to make it happen.

That said, if Brady did snub Foles intentionally, that goes against everything I learned and believe in from sports competition.

If not true, then Philly fans being unhappy when they win...God bless 'em.

I don't really care if he did or didn't, they lost. Superbowls are always a big mess at the conclusion.....I think Bill did right by sitting Butler, don't know how he didn't play him on at least 3rd down in the 2nday half.

Philly fans should be delirious for weeks, maybe months. Especially since the win was legit, they had a much more difficult road to get there than the Pats, and they even had to make a comeback in the fourth, and then hold on twice to seal the deal.

But I'm not neutral, so...

For football fans who "didn't have a horse in the race", it WAS an exciting fun game to watch. Possibly, from an entertainment aspect, the best SB evah, BUT for EAGLES and PATRIOTS fans, it was nerve racking and gut wrenching.
I'll have to admit, before the game, as confident as I was in an Eagles victory, the last few minutes had me more than slightly worried. I KNEW just what Brady and the Pats were capable of, and I found myself thinking . . . OH No, here we go again.
If not for a timely forced fumble by my boy Brandon Graham . . . who knows ?
