The Allman Brothers were a very seminal band that influenced a generation of rockers such as Tom Petty. If you truely don't know them it would be worth your time to take a listen.

Not really. The Trolls were an American musical group, the members of which consist of Javier Franco, Iggy Pop, Whitey Kirst, Pete Marshall, and Alex Kirst. You prolly don't know who Iggy Pop is either.

If you truly are not familiar with the Allman Brothers,I feel sorry for you.You have been deprived of some of the finest Southern Rock ever recorded.Y'all just make sure you jump on that next Justin Beaver album..........he's what real music sounds like.

Duane died in 1971 though.

The band was still great after Duane died, but it wasn't the same band, nor the same sound.

Not bad, just different. Still influential.

Any time,

Duane was gone right after I was born. Lucky for me my mother and father both was big Allman brothers fans so, growing up listening to when the brothers was together was fantastic. Yes it never is quite the same in most cases with bands like Skynyrd after losing Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines and Cassie Gaines. Still was influential and not bad at all but not the same by no means.

Now, for those of us that understand great music and can appreciate Duane "Skydog" Allman and the sound he helped craft for the band...you are rewarded with a small collection from someone that should still be here today.
