So they play dominoes in various bnms by me. I haven't asked anyone or tried to play at all. Was wondering how the game is played or at least the variation that is played. I know the rules and how to play (not strategy) but want a little insight before I try to jump in.

Dominoes are a lot of fun. But their are a lot of different variations to the game.

Don't like playing Train. Usually play Muggins (scored on multiples of 5) with a 9 or 12 set depending on the number of players. We've used a 15 set with 6 or more players.

The best way to learn is by playing with more experienced players who are willing to teach. The biggest tip to learn is the shortcut for keeping count while adding/subtracting when playing a tile.

Play for a nickel or dime a point LOL!

I play dominoes all the time.

I will call them and tell em this is Pizza Hut and we ran out of pizzas, I then tell em we want to order 100 pizzas and we will bring our boxes to put em in. Sometimes they laugh but most times they hang up. Its fun to play with Dominoes.

Train is the only game I know how to play...highly doubt that is what they are playing though...
