^You forgot the (gasp) multiple lot bids. All 100 are spoken for. Someone actually bid on 11 lots ($550 worth). 😣

Are they infused/flavored with brandy or liquor ? They might be a decent smoke if not - that is if you can get the plastic wax off without a trip to the emergency room. Somebody warn that guy who had trouble cutting open 5 packs.

^No, Tony, these are not infused. Just a plain old Gurkha in a glass tube. I have had a couple of the infused ones, and though I wouldn't buy them again, they where "interesting" at the time. And yes, they where a PITA to open.

I guess P.T. Barnum was correct.

With S+H, just over $6 per cigar.
That's not TOTALLY ridiculous, is it?

Gurkha cigars have always been about the marketing, presentation and gimmicks, nothing new here.

Naw, that's really not bad at all if you break it down.

2.50 for the band
1.75 for the glass tube
1.50 for 1oz of the nuclear resistant wax
.25 for the cigar

😲 😲 😲

Ewok I think you are giving the cigar to much credit

So the glass tubes themselves, not the cigars, are collectible.

Most excellent.

Well, I didn't want to say 0.01 cause then I would feel like feel like I am just talking chit about the cigar. That results in me feeling bad about myself for being "that guy" and then I would need a hug or something. I am delicate you know. 😰

#14^ Just a tad...but I know most Gurkhas are junk, and there are a lot of very good cigars for $5.79/ea...but I've had two-or- three out of 12 or so Gurkhas that were decent....maybe not at that price point tho.

A lot of my son's cigar smoking friends offer me Gurkhas, and I always accept...smoked three of them on a cruise last year when one of his friends brought only Gurkhas on the trip. One was pretty good, the other two meh, but smokeable...kinda awkward to refuse someone's offer and smoke your own...
