I won two Tatuaje cojonu 2012 singles with the conn broadleaf wrapper. Got the cigars and the secondary cojonu bands are different, one is a gold band with black stripes and writing while the other is a black band with gold stripes and writing?

I’m not a Tatuaje expert but I’ve never gotten two differing cigars won from the same lot on any auction before. Any tat hoes lurking this evening?

Ummhumm... This is what happens when people get all uppity. They start having grand-babies and start spitting knowledge about all these high end cigars.

The 2012 Cojonu Capa Especial with the Sumatran wrapper has a white background on the main band, with gold lettering and stripes. You did not get one of these.


The 2012 Cojonu Broadleaf has a black background on the band, with gold lettering and stripes. You got one of these.

The 2012 Cojonu Habano has a gold background on the band with black lettering and stripes. You got one of these.


All three are different, but good. The Capa Especial were my faves when they came out. They haven't aged as well as the other two, imho...

I have a capa stashed away that I got on vacation in 2016. I went and looked at them all and they’re exactly as you described.

Ready for these to get here already, going to be very high temps the next few days. Definitely reminding me why I don’t usually order cigars this time of year.
