In advance of my auctions, I now have Windows 10 and my picture size is 1.5mb, how do I reduce the size to post on the forum?

Resize.

download irfanview 64-bit (irfanview.com) and the plugin pack for 64-bit
Install both
Open the picture, choose "Save for web" it will prompt you to resize if needed.
